As I was surfing the ‘net I happened across The One Hundred Artists Project. Here’s a brief description of the project taken from the website:
“The 100 Artists Project is a charity endeavor created to help raise money for artistic and creative organizations.”
Artists and writers contribute their work to a book, the proceeds of which go to charity organizations. It’s a good cause. It’s good motivation to create something. It’s a way to get published and increase exposure of your work. Why haven’t you started working on something to send in yet?
(Volume 1 is for sale for $19.00 USD from IndyPlanet.com.)
I’m going to add this to my list of projects and get crackin’ on it. I should have a couple concept sketches to show for it before the end of the month, at least.
In other news:
I’ve submitted an old drawing of mine into a challenge over on redbubble.
“This is Le Tigre! The littlest, meanest, most contrary luchador around!
When he’s not Le Tigre his friends call him Max, and his favorite class is recess.”
