Of Earthquakes & Hummingbirds

The racket of a jostled screen door woke me at 3:30 this morning. Upon a cursory survey of the house I returned to bed but could not return to sleep, so I made some tea and did some drawing.

This band is probably the first boyfriend band my boyfriend’s band met. They’re a pretty cute band couple, if I do say so myself.

From left to right:
Nicholas – Drummer
Josh + Vocals
Christopher- Bass

They play around Dallas frequently, so be sure to keep an ear out for them.

These three cuties are siblings. They may also be my god children.

The sky offers thick, grey clouds and a drizzle of impending fall this morning which delights me! I’m eager to wear sweaters and sip hot tea on my front porch.

I’ve hit 100 faces for the month of September, which means I only have 200 left to go! I don’t want to totally flood my blog with faces, so will only post my favorites here. The collection can be viewed in its entirety on my Facebook Art Page or my Flickr Stream. Just click the links and find the albums designated to my 1,000 Faces.

How are you challenging yourself lately?
