I’m accumulating a fair amount of Illustration Friday pieces so I think offering them for sale in my Etsy shop is a good way of paring down my inventory.
I’ve also decided to start selling postcards featuring my photography on Fiverr. I’m happy to included a short correspondence on the back of each one. I’m still a little iffy on whether to go with postcards on Fiverr or not and would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
Thanks in no small part to my wonderful Father and my amazing boyfriend I have almost an entire set of frames! We’ve all put in several hours; the men handling the saws and hammers, me having at the wood putty and paint. I had a go at hammering and found I’m still not much good at it, which is fine when time isn’t an issue.
Five days until the show and I’m feeling confident about putting my work on display.
This has been a difficult weekend emotionally but aside from a slew of small sadnesses I’ve been pretty happy and very productive! Thank goodness for clear, warm days! I love dreary weather but sunshine does come in handy.
I hope everyone had a lovely Mothers Day!
Here’s a revised version of one of the Cave of Colors compilations shown a couple posts ago.
Hello there all! I hope your gift shopping is complete and you are able to sit back and enjoy all that winter has to offer.
There were a couple of hang-ups with some of the files used in The Opportunity Project illustrative compilations I did, but those are all cleared up. I’ll see if I can post a revised illustration for you all tomorrow.
I can, however, post a picture of the logo clean-up I did for Open Heart Publishing.
Speaking of which, check out these cute ornaments Mandi made:
She’s offering the instructions for making these lovelies as PDF files for only $12. I’d hop on that if I were you!
Here’s some info on it from the Open Heart Publishing site:
Birthed from a spirit of Philanthropy, Open Heart Publishing works hand in hand with youth organizations to instruct the future generations about the positive changes they can make in the world around them, as well as the limitless opportunity their lives will offer them so long as they are willing to look for those opportunities. Through the crafts of writing, art, editing, marketing and publishing these groups create a book the children then sell, 100% of the profits benefit a charity of the children’s choosing.
This program is called “the Opportunity”.
I just completed the illustrative compilations for Open Heart Publishing! I must say, they look pretty nice!
